Arrival
Upon arrival our cubs will be provided with a nutritious breakfast to ease them into another enriching day at Creative Scholars Academy.
Nap
Once our cubs have explored through lunch time and are full, it is hibernation time. We keep our cribs free of blankets, pillows and toys and use tight fitting sheets to ensure your infant's safety during nap time.
Morning Activities
Once our cubs have finished breakfast and our teachers have completed routine care we head outside (weather permitting) followed by story and song time.
Afternoon Activities
After nap we provide our cubs with a snack before structured play activities indoors and outdoors (weather permitting). This is also our music time before ending our day.
Lunch
We ask parents to provide bottles, formula, breastmilk for their infants. If your child is transitioning to solid foods, we ask that you provide their lunch.
Departure
Our teachers are sure to communicate with you at the end of each day so you can maintain involvement in your infants' milestones. We also ensure to complete a final routine care prior to your arrival so you leave with a clean and happy cub.
Curriculum
You will find our milestone-based curriculum, is designed to specifically meet the developmental needs of our scholars. Children will begin to achieve milestones the four main developmental areas.
01
Cognitive Development
Cognitive development focuses on our scholar's ability to think, and problem solve. Our qualified teachers will help students understand object permanence, create sensory experiences, explore similarities and differences, and explore in imaginative play.
03
Physical Development
Our scholars gain strength and the ability to coordinate fine and gross motor skills. Your infant will develop core muscle groups, experience active movements indoors and outdoors, and gain eye-hand coordination. They will strengthen their fine motor skills such as holding a spoon. They will also strengthen their gross motor skills such as holding their heads up, sitting and walking.
02
Language Development
We will begin helping teach students how to express wants and needs through sounds, expressions, body language as well as orally. They will also begin to understand others, discover the joy of book, music and stories
04
Social-emotional Development
Our cubs begin to learn how to process their emotions and how to interact with others. Your child will begin to be more self-aware, display and understand social gestures, and develop familiarity with others.
